Pyramid Pure Nickel Hand Wound Electric Guitar Strings Light 10-46

I put these on my 2024 Gibson 335, ran them backwards so they came over the top of the stop tail. I was having problems with the tension, feeling that the strings were a bit hard to bend as well as the action feeling a bit high. There was no buzz, so that was the reason to try this. It worked. The action feels better and bending is fine. My Anderson Tele is different. I use 10 13 17 28 38 50 and they feel good for bending as well as half chords up the neck. The 335 is much better overall even though the set is lighter,

These are a little tighter than the round core versions, but that extra snap really livens up the sound of the guitar and they work especially well with moderate output pickups. Totally recommend!

With a floating bridge you know how important tension is . These Pyramid strings are absolutely perfect. They feel amazing - they intonate better than anything I've tried, and they last a long time.
