Aquila 325U Round Spirals Acoustic Bass, 33-34" Scale, Low B, Single String
This is a unique construction using a special multifilament core instead of common nylon. Varnished copper is used, it is hypoallergenic and produces less noise when touched. Pure copper replaces stiffer steel, nickel and phosphor bronze: these materials have a lower specific weight than natural copper. The higher the specific weight the better the acoustic performance.
Pure copper maintains a high specific weight and remarkable flexibility in the covering wire, essential for excellent sound quality. Furthermore, dual winding on thicker strings significantly reduces finger-generated noise.
