The piece “One for the Road, John?” is very short and is really just a musical joke. Written for Zoran Dukic, the piece is based on Dowland’s “Lachrimae” as the starting point (while the performer is still sad and sober), with an Eastern European dance as the conclusion (after having consumed a few glasses of wine). As a subtitle, I used the popular Serbian expression “udri brigu na veselje”, which translates to “turn the worry into joy.”
