What instrument are they played on: 2006 Capek K4-style mandocello. Standard materials: spruce, maple, ebony. Allen tailpiece allows use of ball-end strings. Scale Length = 25.5"

Creator Description: "Most packaged mandocello sets are heavier than necessary. D'Addario nickel bronze provides full overtones and excellent clarity, without the occasional harshness of phosphor bronze. Intonation rings accurately from the moment of attack. String noise seems minimal, and flexibility excellent, compared to other similar-gauge strings. Nickel bronze is not (at this time) available for the low C strings, but .070w standard nickel wound strings provide a close match in tone and playability to the nickel bronze wound courses. " NOTE: This set of strings has ball ends
