Description

These strings feature a natural silk wire between the round core and the external winding which produces a fully balanced tone. Other important characteristics are immediate and long lasting accuracy of intonation. Material: Supersilver copper wound on a Round Core of carbon rich steel. Trebles are made from tinned steel which produces a big sound albeit with low string tension. Silk Wrapped Round Steel core.

beautiful sound

Put these on my Taylor GS mini (50th anniversary torrefied rosewood and sitka spruce top)
This Taylor had quite a nice tone with rich bass sound. I think the guitar came with Elixer 13-56, but I'm not sure. The sound was nice, but not as smooth and balanced as the silk and steels I've been using on my other guitar.
I put these ones on, I wish I could play both strings side by side, but I think I can easily tell that these strings have a more balanced loudness and overall better sound. No string is overpowering any other. The sound is uniformly smooth. Very loud and resonant. Very beautiful. Honestly, it sounds like it's going through a pre-amp or something. It's really incredible. Some of the credit goes to this guitar, because it does have a really nice sound, but these strings sound better than the Elixirs. I play bar gigs and do solo singer-songwriter shows as well, so I need strings that really shine on both. These work for both delicate fingerstyle and heavy blues/classic rock type strumming.

Dogals make Dell Arte come alive

Nicely balanced. Crisp and clean bass and excellent treble tone, also feel quite comfortable under the fingers. Responds well to hard rhythm chopping. Guitar sounds louder and livelier than I remember with other strings. Really like these Dogals on my Dell Arte D-hole Hommage.
