Thomastik-Infeld IBR112T - Infeld Bronze Acoustic Set, Med/Lt 12-53

These strings sound amazing on my son's Rainsong guitar, clearly an improvement over both the recommended Elixir Nanoweb strings that it came with and the newer D'Addario XS strings he has tried. Both of those are coated strings and the T-I strings are uncoated, maybe that contributes to the difference? He says that the sound and feel of playing the T-I strings is much improved on his guitar. Now the only remaining question is how long the T-I strings will last. He plays primarily fingerpick style. I am not a musician, but I concur that there is an appreciable improvement how his guitar sounds, with the most noticiable change being in the low and mid-range.

Wonderful strings. Very well made, keep in tune and sound full and expansive. A bit more expensive than other strings but seem to be worth it.

Very normal Bronze, nothing special.

I have used Thomastik-Infeld strings for 25 years on my Fylde. I love their Plectrum but decided to try their new phosphor Infeld strings. Wow! From the moment I turned up and began plucking I knew I had something different here. The tone is amazing – Crystal clear and wonderful tone. They are definitely a fingerpicker’s dream. And believe it or not, they have less pounds per square inch then even the Plectrums. My second set, I put on a jumbo that I built. What a joy! Try a set. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
