Dogal V76 Green Line Mandoloncello Bronze Flatwound Round Core

I am absolutely pleased with these strings.

Pros:
Smooth as silk
No pick or slide noise
Firm yet pliable
Concentrates the pitch of the C string
Volume is strong
Smaller gauge means lower action
Warm sounding
Even tone across the strings

Strings are looped end. Gauges are: A .51mm, D .72mm, G 1.16mm, and C 1.50mm. Despite being significantly thinner than D'Addario mandocello strings, volume is strong on my Weber Gallatin F 24 3/8" scale mandocello, including low C string. Thinner string gauge helps improve action. Flat wounds eliminate finger noise. Bronze flatwounds produce a wonderfully warm tone. Expensive, but worth it for me.
