Yes, Picks Make a Difference
Review by Joseph S. on 24 Oct 2024 review stating Yes, Picks Make a Difference I've used .73mm and .88mm Dunlop Nylon Max-Grip picks for a long time. They're my go to. I bought one of the .73mm Dunlop Primetone picks the last time I bought some strings just to check it out. I wasn't expecting a significant difference but I was wrong. The Primetone absolutely delivers a fuller, more rounded, warmer tone as compared to the nylons. If you prefer the feel of a lighter pick, know that the .73mm Primetone feels like a heavier pick - about the same, stiffness-wise, as a .88mm nylon.
