Elixir 15126 Nanoweb 80/20 Bronze Acoustic .026, Single Guitar String

I’m a older beginner guitar player. I recently bought my first set of strings at a local national retailer, because being a newbie I simply wanted to see what I was buying. During my first restringing I got a little cocky and promptly cut one too short. I went online for the convenience, and figured in addition to buying a single string I’d also get a replacement set, and set of new strings for my electric. Of course you get a bunch of links to the big online retailers, but was attracted by Strings by Mail. I prefer doing business with subject matter experts whenever possible. Their site was easy to navigate and it was easy to find what I needed. Their prices are less than local retailers, and the modest mailing fee is insignificant. Plus, you get a nice personal note from the owner. Which tells me you can feel confident they’ll put your order together correctly. You feel like your doing business with a local in-town music shop.
