Great for playing slide and standard tuning

The only problem that I used to have with strings , was that the tension was so light when I tuned down to G for slide. These give me everything I need and then some. I discovered these about 22 years ago, 1999, I believe, when they were called “Renee Martinez Big Core Strings” and I have used them since then. I get the tension I need, and a little deeper, richer tone. I highly recommend them.
