been using these strings for at least 40 yrs. Great quality. no reason to change.

Great "in between" Strings

I've played bass and gigged for over 40 years and have several basses with strings from rounds to flats to tape wounds, all for different live and recording applications. I'm digging these strings right now - they're pretty smooth on the fingers (almost semi-round). A little higher tension then I expected for the gauge, with good clarity and punch. I will buy them again.
