Excellent Strings for the A6

I bought a used Godin A6 strung with bronze acoustic strings. When I checked the guitar out on Godin's website, they said it was strung with these strings. So I picked some up from Strings by Mail (who did their usual excellent job) and put them on. I loved the guitar before I put them on, but now I love it even more.

As I expected, it sounds better plugged in, but it also sounds better acoustically too. That surprised me a little, actually; I figured the bronze acoustic strings would sound better unamplified. But the guitar just sounds best with these strings no matter how I'm using it.

I'm really glad I checked Godin's website, because using these strings made an already fine guitar even better. If you have an A6, these strings are the way to go. I won't use anything else on my A6 from now on.
