Review of Erithacus EDN 33. 5 Nylon Medium Tension

Over the years I have tried a variety of different brands - from Augustine, Aranjuez, and Hannabach to (just a few times) Savarez and D'Addario. Mostly medium or soft tension. Settled mostly for Augustine Red . . . and learned just a few years ago that they were also Bream's preferred choice (not that I am anywhere close to playing like that). Anyway, I also never found really dramatic differences between brands and was just happy to have a new set on the guitar (to the point that I have now started changing them every six weeks, as opposed to every 9-12 weeks I used to in earlier years). Anyway, I was truly blown away by the brilliance and sustain these strings achieved on my Guo Philharmonic . . . and ordered two more sets and may make them my new go-to choice.

Truly Excellent

I’ve been searching for a long time for trebles that temper my newish spruce top guitar. I’ve arrived with these. They produce a rounded, sweet tone, and I love how they feel under my fingertips. I truly couldn’t ask for more.
