Sound great

I tried these after playing a set of their actives and I find these have better bass, deeper, rounder. The qz nylon trebles are excellent and tone wise sit right between nylon and carbon. These are now my favorite strings however I will be trying and comparing these to the edq 34.0 next.

Great strings

Very good strings, gentle on your fingers. Trebles sound is a bit warmer than Savarez new cristal and Knobloch will easily outlast them. Trebles are a touch softer to play than Knobloch Actives, but Actives have more volume and sound almost as warm as Erithacus nylon. Erithacus nylon and Actives are now my favorite strings.

Q: Which is the 2nd string and the 5th string. My eyes aren't good enough to clearly see the difference between adjacent strings. I have read that the orange or red mark signifies the 2nd and the 5th. Is this correct? Also which side goes through the bridge? The curled side or the opposite side or does it matter? One reason I ask is because my D string broke at the bridge after being on the guitar for about an hour.

A: The D string will be wound and the B will be plain. Which end doesnt really matter but the looser wound end will be easier to bend to tie on the bridge.
