The strings arrived promptly with a nice welcome note from the owner. I normally use Pyramid or Savarez overspun strings, but the very low prices of La Bella's product enticed me to try them. Though I'm happy with the prices, and the strings look good, there was some confusion and difficulty as to La Bella lute string technical specs: they were unavailable for these strings on the website. SBM staff calculated tensions for me somehow on request, so they must be available. I wrote to La Bella for clarification but received no response. There was some difficulty in being as precise as I need because of this. SBM, please track down and post on your website enough technical information for me to determine proper tensions and know my instruments are safe.
