Most Excellent!

I got these strings for an experiment. . . my good ole Ovation 12 string! They take a long time to adjust but once they do the result is epic.

on 60cm scale Arabic Iraqi body Sandi Oud

Good bases, they are more tightly wound than other oud bases so they feel stiffer but have a normal tension. That also means I can tune down a whole step and they stay playable on my oud. They sound good immediately, very warm not bright. The trebles are lacking, bad tone, and the low tension can't handle lower tunings. Best combined with better trebles, such as Aquila white nylgut.

Great strings, great price, fast delivery

I bought my first set on Amazon, then I discovered Strings By Mail. Not only were they cheaper, but the shipping was faster as well. Plus, they put a great sticker in the box which is too cool. This is where I will now be buying all of my strings.

The strings also sound great and the tension seems perfect to me, although I'm a long time guitar player just learning the Oud.
