La Bella 2001 Classical 2005MH 5th string A medium hard tension .0355

Switched to La Bella mediums on my guitars because the tension was lower than other medium strings. The original 5th (A) string from the La Bella 427 set gave out and shredded after only 1 month while the guitar was not being used. This string was a replacement for that string even though the tension is higher. Hopefully it was only a fluke. However I also had the similar problem with a #4 (D) on a second guitar (La Bella 2001-medium), also a short time span. Waiting to see what happens with these sets over the next few months, I currently have 3 different tension sets of La Bella mounted on 3 different guitars that I rotate between for my practicing. May switch to the higher tensions for the base strings next time (2001-med - hard tensions). They seem to hold up better, waiting to see. Currently using 427 medium, 2001 medium, and 2001 Medium-Hard.
