La Bella BG-M Phosphor Bronze Baritone Acoustic Guitar Strings 15-80

These are heavy (heavy) gauge strings with substantial winding. They produce a deep resonant sound but can be slightly inaccurate in the higher positions. Worth it for the sound.

My phenomenally generous cousin decided he needed to build me a custom baritone guitar. Really. Sapele, Bearclaw Sitka Spruce, Cocobolo bindings & a 27” scale. I play in standard tuning, open B tuning, & open C tuning. In the past year I’ve tried every acoustic baritone string set I could find. For this guitar, with those tunings, these are the strings. They sing. Great sustain. No coat-hangers even on that monster 6th string.
