Strings for active jazz bass

First time trying this set on a jazz bass with active EQ. They feel terrific and sound very clean and tight on the low end. I wanted a slightly heavier gauge without being too stiff and these are just right. They may take a while to fully settle in, which has been my experience with other La Bella strings, flats or rounds. More expensive than most strings but I keep them on forever (almost.) Excellent service by Strings By Mail - everything in stock.

Good Strings

Awesome strings from Labella, as you'd expect. However I'm not a fan of the 80 gauge A string. Gives it a bit of an unbalanced tone from string to string.
