La Bella White Nylon Tape Wound 600M Electric Guitar Strings 14-67

Great quality, great tone. I have these on a custom tele and they are supreme. I have used black as well, I’d say they’re identical. Great feel great playability great sound. Great customer service and shipping to boot!

I ended up coming back to these strings because of the feel and warm sound they provide, even with flats I used to get some string noise while changing chords or position, the jazz tapes make no unwanted sound at all, same with the pick attack, it's almost like playing fingerstyle. I do have to say that because of how much I play they start to lose stability after 6 months more less, meaning that I have to re tune the guitar every now and then. The sound also changes a little bit, starts to go on the brighter thin side after a long time, last time I used them they lasted fot about 8 months, the 6th and 5th strings were so thick that the tuning post couldn't handle a proper winding, being that the main reason why I changed them but I came back because nothing even comes close to this. The 1st and 2nd strings are nothing spectacular, you pretty much pay for the last 4 strings, but last time they included an extra set of those 2 first strings to compensate for the price, I guess. Personally, I use elixirs or thomastik on the 1st and 2nd and la bella on the remaining 4, kind of a perfect set for me.

Please Note: The Jazz Tapes are longer than most electric guitar scales, they work perfectly as long as you don’t cut the wrapping after you’ve wound them around the tuner post. I just tie the excess string into a knot.

I play fingerstyle on my electric guitar, and I have chronic pain in my hands. The Jazz Tapes solved all my problems I’ve had with comfort. They’re very light tension despite the huge gauges. This is because the metal core of the string isn’t that thick, its the outer layer of Nylon that gives it the huge gauges. Bc of the low tension, I am able to fret & bend without excess strain on my hands. But the low tension doesn’t come at the cost of tuning stability. I can play in standard, and in most open tunings with it able to hold up. They also feel sublime. The polished nylon wrap makes it feel like I’m sliding against glass an its so lovely.

For my style of playing guitar the tone works perfectly. The wound strings sound super fat with lots of fundamental. The strings are very responsive to dynamics and have a lot of focus in the low end. For some styles you might sacrifice some clarity, so I don’t think I’d suggest them for some rock or metal styles. But for jazz, fingerstyle, and many other styles I will never buy another kind of string. LaBella proved that they know what they’re doing. And stringsbymail have gotten my strings to me very fast every time. So I’ll be ordering these from them again.

I have these strings on my Martin baritone guitar and they are awesome.
The sting feel is like a nylon string classical with all the tremalo and bend quality. They have opened a whole new voice quality for my baritone, they bend like "slinkies". If you have a baritone with 28 inch scale you owe it to yourself to give these a try.
