Luthier Super Carbon 101 3rd string g3 High Tension, single

I've heard that carbon on the 3rd string gives a nice transition between the basses and trebles. After trying a few G string carbons, I liked the Luther Super Carbons the best. I find that using this carbon string with silver basses and titanium trbels for the high B and E provides the best tonal balance.
