This is Volume 2 of the three volumes that Mangado has written about Fernando Sor. It adds some items to what he had described in his Volume 1 and then proceeds to describe Sor’s stay in Paris from 1813 to 1815, his stay in London from 1815 to 1822, his move to Paris and then his years in Russia from 1822 to 1827. Again Mangado continually cites original documents in detail. Also, in a long annexe he writes about the individual dancers who appeared in performances of Sor’s ballet Cendrillon in Paris, with short biographies about each individual dancer. It has 338 pages and is written in Spanish.
