Not always less tension

I bought these hoping for less tension but they actually have more tension than many other brands regular seta of the same gauge. I do like the sound better though.

Great strings and relief for these old hands!

These strings are excellent quality and easy on these old hands. For my fingerstyle playing I am not noticing much difference at all compared to the . 012-. 054. I strung these on a Yamaha FSX5. More than fair price!

Martin flexible core strings

I had been using silk/steel light and medium guage strings on several vintage and "home made" acoustic guitars, but found them to be quite "dark" sounding. The 11/52 flex steel strings brighten the sound and give me the brassy voice I am looking for, while still making it easier for me to play fingerstyle without picks. These strings (including the 12/54's for shorter scale guitars) will now be my "go to" strings.
