Philippe Bosset Acoustique Phos Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings 13-56

Purchased these because I was looking for a good medium gauge phosphor bronze string. I really liked the idea that Philippe Bosset is a smaller company and figured I'd give it a try. Also, I had never tried strings from France. I was surprised at how bright they sounded, closer to an 80/20 but not quite there. If you're an 80/20 player and are looking to try out Phosphor Bronze, this would be a good transition set. They sound well-rounded when strumming and have an excellent sustain when performing fingerstyle music. Also, they sound good at nearly any pitch-- 444, 440, 432, 415; their performance stayed even (some strings are geared towards 440 "standard pitch" only). Definitely an underrated company. Will be trying these again, or at least keeping an extra set on hand.
