Philippe Bosset Acoustique Phos Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings 12-53

Let me begin by saying I strung this set of Philippe Bosset light gauge phosphor bronze strings on a contemporary dreadnought instrument with an Engelmann Spruce top and Rosewood Body. Two things were quickly apparent , these stings are loud in comparison to American counterparts and have a very different feel. The set provided even projection across all six strings and educed plenty of overtones from the Rosewood body. I can only describe the feel as grippy. These stings may not be the best choice for a flatpicker, but a solo fingerstylist may find them worth investigating.

These strings are simply excellent, a great sound with just the right balance of warmth and shimmer. They are well worth the price. I shall certainly be ordering them again.
