2018 marked the 70th anniversary of the death of Manuel María Ponce Cuéllar which we started celebrating with the publication of a new critical edition of Ponces 24 Preludios. Now we are pleased to continue our tribute with this anthology of six works prepared from the original autograph manuscripts of the composer by Stefano Grondona, a magisterial interpreter of Ponces music. The works have been carefully selected because of their high quality, and also because they deserve a re-appraisal having not had the benefit of ever having been performed by Andrés Segovia.
