the2Mic-Viiper™ is a "breakthrough design" for the amplification of classical. flamenco and acoustic* guitars, featuring:
- natural acoustic tone reproduction
- quick and easy mounting with no modifications to the guitar
- discrete design barely visible to the audience
- affordable price
* some acoustic guitar need an adapter
After 40 years of working to amplify nylon stringed guitars, Ken Donnell has created a "signature design" which embodies all of the above critical features for amplifying classical, flamenco and acoustic guitars. The2Mic-Viiper uses an elastic cord mechanism which hugs the edge of the fingerboard and heel to mount quickly and securely, and still be virtually invisible to an audience. The “inside-outside” design for placement of the two mic elements used with the Viiper can be positioned to capture the most natural tone qualities of any guitar. Both mics are mounted on flexible goosenecks for easy mic positioning or changing mic position (every guitar has different air patterns and may require slightly different mic positions).
For hard wiring to a PA system, a 12 ft 1/4 inch cable and a EPS-2 is included. This cable and the EPS-2 will deliver the fully balanced low impedance signal of the Viiper to a PA mixer or acoustic amp. NOTE: the Viiper requires 9-48 v phantom power from the mixer or amp, and therefore needs this cable and EPS-2 to operate hard wired.
Wireless option - 2Mic-Viiper Companion Samson Wireless system allows for top quality wireless operation
Recommended Amplifier: Electro-Voice EVERSE8, available in Black or White.
