Thomastik-Infeld JS113 Jazz Swing Flat Wound Strings

I’ve never been so excited by the sound of a new set of strings as I have been over these Thomastik-Infeld JS113 Jazz Swing Flat Wound set. Warm resonant tones, noiseless, and a deep clarity without any mudiness. Someone in Vienna is getting it right. Highly recommend!

Awesome for Jazz

I had tried many brands of strings on my Gibson Semi-Acoustic and different amps to get an authentic and balanced Jazz tone. These were awesome. Very balanced, loud smooth and easy to play. They last for ages, like forever. I know you are not supposed to do this but the current set on my guitar have been on there for over 5 years and because of this turn out to be extremely good value. They have a permanent mellow Jazz tone with amazing sustain now that they have settled in.

This is such a no brainer choice for getting a Jazz sound. Use a very heavy and hard pick as well. This setup even sounds good through a crappy solid state amp.
