These strings seem to say, “Play me!”. They sing. They sparkle and the basses rumble. I love the way these strings make me want to play more.

Knobloch Carbon Guitar Strings

I will definitely be ordering from strings by mail for these strings again soon!! The customer service (though I have not yet personally used the customer service info card that came with the strings) sounds like a class act! The strings came in flawless condition, with a really great free sticker I’m excited to place (I just haven’t picked where yet) :) I got a personally signed thank you note with my strings, as well as a printed receipt. The strings themselves are amazing, and I can’t believe it took me so long to try them out!! I will definitely be ordering from this site again soon. :)

Love these strings for my smaller bodied guitars

I put these strings on two of my classical guitars: one, a parlor-sized Wolfgang Jellinghaus "Torres 77" and the other, a Kenny Hill cut-away flamenco. These strings give the parlor-sized guitar a voice beyond its size, and the flamenco guitar such a sweet tone. (Yes, I play classical on a flamenco guitar. I'm not a traditionalist. )

Still Assessing but So Far So Good

I recently acquired a 2008 Kris Barnett cedar/redwood lattice braced guitar. I had previously heard these strings in a review done by Siccas on one of Kris' 2020 guitars of very similar construction. and loved them. The set I purchased has only been on the guitar for about a week and is finally settling in. Siccas' review mentioned their guitar was loud and this is certainly the case with mine. Whether the strings the guitar or a combination thereof, it is easy to overpower with the basses and I'm still learning my way around both. But I like them enough to have ordered a second set and a couple spare singles.

Q: Hello, all the tensions mentioned for this set have changed. Do you measure tensions another way now or did Knobloch change all the strings in this set many have been loving for 15-20 years? I thank you in anticipation. Best regards. Ben
