Ukes they are they played on: Custom Ko'olau Uke as well as Fluke and Flea Ukes

Custom Customer Concoction uke strings

So far so good. I have had them on for about a week now. They tuned up fast. Within 24 hours they were staying in pitch pretty much. Much better than the strings I have used in the past. Also they have not snapped. Had that problem before too.
I do really like the wound low G.
To date, I am very happy with the strings.

I Love These Strings

Graig Brandau's Low G Customer Concoction for the ukulele are the only strings I use on my Mya-Moe. They are a fabulous with a rich deep mellow tone. Hope Stings By Mail carries them forever.

Savarez Custom Costumer Concontion/Craig Brandau Low G Uke Set

I wish I could rate the 1-3 strings separately from the low G. I absolutely love the tone and feel of the fluorocarbon strings. For my taste, I would prefer for the low G to also be a fluorocarbon string. Really I would give this set 4.5 stars, with the .5 deducted being due to the squeaking of the low G on certain passages. Any chance I make my own concoction, substituting the wound low G for a fluorocarbon?

Q: Will these strings work on a tenor ukulele?

A: Hello Mike,
The customer who created this set indicated it is fine for tenor uke and we see no reason why that would not be the case. We recommend tuning your uke to pitch slowly while monitoring the string tension- if it seems like too much tension is being exerted contact us for a refund/replacement set.
That being said, we do believe this set will work fine on your tenor uke.

This set should work on a baritone uke. We have not tried it on any instruments here at the store but the gauges are close enough that you could experiment with it. If you find one of the strings feels too loose (or too tight) we could help you make adjustments by using a different gauge Alliance string.
