Good basic set, high quality

Installed on a Gretsch Junior Jet II, which they suit perfectly. I had tried flatwound Chromes but preferred the rounds for the broader range of tone. That Gretsch has a wide tonal ramge so it isn't brittle with roundwounds. Also the ball end windings are bettet suited to the very small bridge. The yarn of the Chromes was getting onto the E saddle, so I's slid the brass spool (ball) from a used string doen over the E to offset the stting end a tad from the bridge and get the yarn out of the saddle.
