Dogal RC148 Phosphor Bronze Round Core Acoustic Guitar Strings 9-42

Just by the sound of the name, gauge, and core they will be my new favorites.. I'd try them so I can change these 5 m/ strings on my Alvarez, however no one makes anything Free 😞😞

Put on a Yamaha LL6 to address buzzing because of low left hand strength. Much better than expected in every way. Not as loud as heavier strings but remarkably good tone, and far easier to play cleanly while rebuilding strength. These strings feel almost like silk&steels but sound better (to me) and last longer (for me). Highest recommendation if they meet your requirements.

My review is kind of biased because i prefer strings at least .010. I bought these in case any friends wanted ultra light.

Well, i put it on my friends guitar. I wont be able to tell you how long they last or if they break. But i did play them for 20 minutes. They sound fine. .009 of course wont be as loud & the tone suffers too. But theyre easier to play than thick strings.

Thats the trade off. Thinner strings, easier to play. Thicker strings more tone more volume/sustain, better sound.

Anyways these came with 3 steel 😂😂😂😂😂 3 wound. Never seen 3 steel strings on a guitar but whatever lol

My final thoughts: not the best. Not the worst.

Not very impressed by Dogal strings so far!
