Pyramid Pure Nickel Classics Electric Guitar String .020 Wound Single

I’ve played with 12’s for years and was hesitant but the sound is still as solid, with a little more flex. The tension is very even on this set. The round core is fluid across all strings and up and down the neck. Glad I gave them a try, now my permanent set of choice for my old telecaster!!

I'm so glad that Strings By Mail carries the full line of singles for Pyramid Nickel Classics. If your pickups have flat pole pieces, you really need a wound G-string for proper string balance. A plain G is too heavy and ends up dominating the balance of sound, especially on the neck pickup. It's awesome to able to get my favorite strings with a wound G that isn't too thick to pair with the other string gauges that I like. Bravo!

These Pyramid strings sound great and the "Strings By Mail" staff has good communication, but this is the 3rd or so order of mine that I had to wait a very long time for. 6-7 weeks if memory serves correctly for my last order to be 100% delivered.
