GHS 4L-NB Balanced Nickels Light Electric Bass Strings 40-101

Balanced Nickels: a combination of traditional string materials and modern string design. Wound over a round steel core with a pure nickel final cover, Balanced Nickels have the same number of wraps from string to string. This yields a tone that is deep but focused, with an extremely even response, no matter where you are on the fretboard. The end result is a balance between tension, flexibility, tonality and playability.

Well Balanced

I really like the response of these strings no matter where on the fretboard. The tension on these strings is very nice as well.

These are great strings. They

These are great strings. They do exactly what they claim to do: string to string tension darn near perfect, nice deep clear response with plenty of fundamental and warmth and timbre-wise very consistent from top of the neck to the bottom. They're a bit stiffer than the 40-100 DR Nickel Lo Riders I normally use but not enough for it to be an issue. Would happily buy these again.

Best bass strings EVER!

40yrs of pro experience and these are the best strings I have ever played. And I've played them all. Truly a balanced output, tone and feel from string to string,up and down the neck. I'll never use any other. Thank you GHS!
