GUITARLIFT Add-On Cushion

I love my GUITARLIFT(S) - I have 3 for different guitars. I bought the cushion to prevent the lift/guitar from slipping down my leg. I have a bad back and need (2) supports for long term sitting. Because of this I use a foot rest in addition to the Guitarlift, but the thin foam ends up moving down my leg. So I thought the textured, wider plastic cushion would do the job. It does help, but if was wider it would do a better job for my specific needs.

Very comfortable addition for heavier guitars. 5 star on that (Godin grand concert SA). They do widen out a bit and become a looser fitting but stay on pretty well. If they made an all in one replacement I think that would have been better. I own 5 guitarlifts on 5 different guitars and bought 5 cushions for all of them. Best use is still on the heaviest guitars. Won’t stay on the crossover due to less curve in the leg cut. If you’re willing to take it on and off every time though it’s worth the effort on a heavy guitar. Also depends on how you place the current cushion. If it’s above the body line this widens the cushion so that doesn't fit between the body and the lift without modifying it a bit. Well worth the try for a more comfortable extended playing time.

This made my GuitarLift much more comfortable and it fits on my leg better. I just wish the GuitarLift had come with better cushion. Happy with my purchase and I definitely recommend getting this if you have discomfort.
