Hannabach Pure Gold 8254MT - 4th string (D) Medium Tension

I practice or play enough scores that call for the E note on the D string, second fret, which is where that string inevitably breaks. I rarely experience breakage with any of the other strings (an occasional A string, perhaps) so I make it a point to have a few extra rather than break into a new set. I also find it useful to have a couple of extra guitar basses (E, A, G) as those strings always wear faster. The Hannabach Pure Gold strings sound really good on my guitars and I find them worth the additional expense... The medium tension feel best to me.
