I use these like a straight pick, the design helps me to not drop them. 30+ years playing and lately I have had a hand issue, that makes holding on to picks a problem, I now have medium and light gauge for different styles and instruments.

Q: What is the gauge of the light Herco HE111L thumb pick? What about thumb size?

A: Hello Norm,
There is no thickness spec given in the Herco catalogue. I measured the thickness as .65mm. Similarly Herco does not specify the thumb-size and they do not have options for medium or large like some of the other makers. I would say these are on par with a regular sized Dunlop or Fred Kelly pick.
