Herco HE112 Flat Thumb Pick Medium, One Pick Assorted Color

I like the sound produced by the shell colored picks. The thumb picks work best for me since post shoulder surgery damage resulted in numbness in my hand that prevents use of a standard flat pick.

Previously (55+ Years), I have never been able to use "Thumb Picks" effectively, but about 8 Months ago I whacked my Right Thumb between two large rocks in the Garden and then lost my Right Thumbnail, which made Finger-Picking quite the challenge. A friend was Rehearsing with me for our Performance at the Philadelphia Folk Festival and rummaged around in his bag of Picks and handed me a Herco HE112 Medium Flat Pick. . . It Worked!! That night I placed an Order with Strings By Mail for Six Picks; Three "Mediums" and Three "Heavies" (I typically like Rigid Picks so the Heavies seemed a logical choice) but the Heavies proved to be uncomfortable on my damaged Thumb. These are Terrific Picks and I heartily Recommend them. They get 5 Stars from Me!

I'm a finger picker, but these picks allow a little more acoustic guitar volume when I play with an Irish session group. Just right.
