Fred Kelly Delrin Bumblebee Teardrop .74mm Medium T-M, 1 Pick

I saw this pick and liked the idea to enhance my Blue Grass guitar “journey”.
So far I’m not sure I prefer it over the flat pick, but time will tell.

Tis pick works to switch between flatpicking and fingerpicking on the fly.

I suppose like most pickers, I've been on a long search for a thumb Pick I could use effectively. For my use and my thumb size these picks really work. I like the adjustable depth and angle aspect, the small size, and the fact that they make up-picking easy without pulling or displacing the pick. Of all the thumb picks I've tried on steel string guitar, these have been the best for me.

I got one to try out for my style of picking and still working at it.

I like to finger pick, chicken pick and flat pick. Sometimes, all in one song.
I tried various picks but nothing seemed to work just right. A good thumbpick is too stiff for flat picking, and those other thumbpick/flatpicks end up breaking when I really dig in.
Not these Fred Kelly bumblebees! I have a teardrop medium and a more pointed jazz one. Both are outstanding! Great tone, flexibility and strength! And they stay on my thumb.
