Bright Sound

After purchasing strings for an upright bass for years, I was pleased to get a set of six strings for my new guitarron for just $30. A good value. As expected, this new set of strings has really transformed the sound. I was pleased with the communication provided by Strings By Mail!

Q: I've played upright bass for years. I am new at guitarron, trying to teach myself, and I have a question about the LaBella strings. Are the C, E and A, (treble strings), the nylon wound on nylon? Are the bass strings, A, D and G, brass wound on steel?
