Savarez 6CB640R Lower Octave (Contra Bass) NT Guitar Strings, Full Set

Great prices, great selection, and great service. That pretty much covers it.

I purchased a set of 6 contrabasse strings as well as another each of A5 and E6 just to make sure I could transform my fretless Ramirez classical guitar to a fretless bass. The top 4 of the set of 6 went on fine but, the last 2 were too big for the holes. The others I got were tapered and went on well so I have a 6 string fretless bass now. In the future I will probably have to buy the 6 just to use the 4 but, it certainly works for now. I may adjust the holes later to just need the set of 6. We'll see.

Our needs are few but our wants are endless. You cover both for me. (the Savarez contra bass string set is practically a secret..I build mandolins, mandocellos, guitars, basses,s baritones, kalimbas, slit drums and steampunk electric guitars that actually sell....so I need and want stuff) Incredible service, so much so that I got you a sale from California the next day..Your sticker is so cool it is on my pedal board. Finish at both ends of the strings is loose and very flexible, unlike the classical guitar string of the Savarez brand. Extremely difficult to push through the sting holes at the back of the bridge. If there is a secret about stringing, will someone please tell me. Savarez is the only brand I prefer!
