La Bella 2001C Light Tension Value Pack (with three extra D strings)

I am ver happy with this purchase. These strings feel great in my Silent Nylon Strung Yamaha

These strings are the perfect match for my Botelli they bring out the fullest range of color and richness that the instrument has to offer in short an excellent string.

I've found that these strings work very, very well on my 19th. century guitars: Long lasting, good intonation, and stretch out and stay in tune better than any other string that I've tried. The 10-set bulk package is a great value. The bulk set comes with three extra "D" strings, but I've gone through about 10 - 15 sets, and have never had a "D" string break. Only problem that I've had may be due to my playing rather than the string - Even though I don't play with particularly long nails, the top "E" string will get rough, like little divots are wearing into the string, causing a scraping sound. When that happens, I turn the string around and get another week or so out of the set. In the future, I'll probably order extra "E" singles, because they seem to be long lasting except for this problem. Also works well on my "modern" guitar, and I don't notice less volume as compared to a higher tension set. "Strings by Mail" prices are excellent.
