Powerful Strings

For my Oxreiter flamenco it was like putting a Porche engine in a VW bug, perfect for samba bass lines and very balanced but not the best for lydian harmony overtones because the top doesn’t need that much vibration.

My second set

The first set I bought of these sounds really good on my Cordoba Hauser. So I bought another set for my GV Rubio, and they sound dead, especially the g string, which is pitiful. Won’t be buying them again.

Favorite Strings

I need to play without nails most of the time and these strings are perfect for that. They have the closest sound to real gut strings that I have ever heard in a synthetic string.

The slightly rough texture of the trebles works well with non calloused soft fingertip no nail playing

Q: Will these strings be suitable for a romantic guitar with a 646 mm scale length? Does Savarez (or anyone else) produce a comparable set intended for early guitars? Thanks!
