Luthier Super Carbon 101 MT Classical Guitar Strings, Treble Set

Overall, these strings sound fabulous. Unfortunately, I could not warrant a higher rating. There is a recurring issue with the 1st string in this set and I have purchased this pack several times. I have two Flamenco guitars that I have used this on and the 1st string has consistently slipped or broken, resulting in damaged top near the bridge.

I have used Luthier strings both bass and these carbon trebles for years. Always prefer the consistent intonation and the loudness these strings provide to my Flamenca negra guitar as opposed to most other strings.

I've tried Luthier trebles over the years and they have been disappointing in that they intonate flat for each higher fret (especially the 1st string). This appears to be a consistant problem. They are a fine string (for Flamenco) if you stay below the fifth fret.
