Pepe Romero GLOW Lt tension flamenco strings

Best set of strings I ever used on my 1966 Oribe Flamenco guitar. My complaint over the last 60 years has been that the 3rd string (G) on every set I ever tried, was dull and tubby. Vicente Gomez recommended I use the Savarez Red card wound nylon G string, which I have been doing until I tried the GLOW Pepe Romero'LaBella Lt. tension strings. The third string (G) is just as loud as the others and all the strings are well balanced through out the entire set. Tension is much better on these strings and make it easier on my left hand. Sound is warm and mellow, yet bright when played in flamenco style. Wow !!! These strings are great.

Tonally, these are somewhat brighter

Tonally, these are somewhat brighter than regular nylon but not as bright as carbon. I purchased these for a 50 year old luthier made guitar that I own. The lower tension is perfect for older instruments that require a gentler touch. The strings themselves are comfortable to play and have a nice sustain. They have an accurate intonation and excellent projection.

Perfect fit for my spruce top classical

I purchased these strings for my Prisloe Pavan spruce top classical. I have recently decided to go back to normal tension strings because I have issues with my left wrist and thumb. So not only did these strings make the guitar easier to play but they sound amazing. They have the perfect balance between tension, playability and tone. I do allot of recording and this GLOW set provided a really nice, soft, sweet and mellow tone that I was never ever to get with hard tension strings. Legatos are now easy and the guitar just seems more expressive and responsive. I have not been able to put this guitar down since I changed to over to these strings. My guitar is happy, my wrist is happy and I am back to playing and recording so I will be soon buying a few more of these sets in the future.
