Treble E Trouble

These strings are indeed bright with enhanced volume - which is something I think steel string players appreciate more than our classical brothers. With that said; I have had two consecutive treble E strings delaminate, or fray over the saddle and then break in short order. My classical guitar happens to have a pretty sharp angle over the saddle, looks to be slightly sharper than 45 degrees. If you have a shallower angle over the saddle your experience may be different.
