Pyramid Acoustic Guitar Strings Phosphor Bronze Wound Light 12-52

If I kept my guitar in DADGAD as another reviewer does, I’d prolly like them more. To my hands they are stiffer in comparison to other makers .012-.053 sets. Their brightness would likely favor dropped tunings. I prefer the organic warmth and suppleness of GHS PB strings. Definitely not ‘bad’...just a sound and feel I like less.

I am a finger style player with 50 years of playing time and many sets of strings over those years. I have tried perhaps half a dozen brands of strings over the past few years and recently purchased the Pyramid strings. They are being used on a Sitka/Katalox guitar that I keep in DADGAD. As I told Matt with SBM after the purchase, they are excellent in many regards. They have the unusual combination of being warm, focused, having some snap and staying in tune better than many makes. They're certainly worth a try in my opinion. Thanks for the air time to do a little promo.
