Pyramid Pure Nickel Classics Electric Guitar Strings Reg Special 10-48

I tried these on a 2007 Anderson Tele, but they felt stiff though they are round core. I tried them for a week, but went back to 11's and it made a difference in the overall feel and playability. The Anderson came to me new in '07 with 11's on it, so maybe they're designed to play better that way. The 11's were the same brand but I sub the plain G for a .017 wound D'Addario and a .052 Pyramid. The .052 intonates better than a .050. It costs more, but for me playing in tune is more important. I play jazz and blues, so I do whole note bends with no problem.

The strings were made well & sounded great, but I have been playing 10-46 for years and after a couple of weeks, I converted them back to 10-46 by ordering Pyramid single strings... after that I really enjoyed the feel & the tone.. so for my "hands" the Pyramid 10-46 will be my next choice... great harmonics
