Pure Nickel Classic sound of the 60's strings

These strings are insanely good. The mellow overtones of the wound strings give a classic guitar sound that you can't get from any other brand that I have tested for the last 50 years. Gives me the sound I have been trying to get for the perfect recording tones. What they don't mention in the string info is that the plain strings are silver plated. Now I have used strings that were nickel plated, tin plated, brass plated, but this is the first time for silver plated. Wow, the crisp chime tone is to die for. But, they can be overly bright and you need to lower your pickups on the treble side to balance the tone. I was truly amazed at the tones that these strings supply. My hats off to this German company.

Warmth in Vintage Tone

Awesome - best sound strings I will ever use - Always Why would anyone want that nasty twangy STEEL WOUND junk when the tone of the vintage warmth and subtle overtones of these Pyramids also make my guitars sound true - I use them on all my guitars and basses - from the 3 strats, the 2 teles, the Gibson ES335, Epi Casino, the Rickenbacker 12, 6 and bass strings and my Fender Jazz & Precisions. ALL OF THEM
