Not a big difference
Review by Tim on 28 Sep 2024 review stating Not a big difference I was curious about these. I found I liked the regular Western Folk and thought I'd try these. I did a side-by-side comparison between the regular and the polished. There is a difference but not very much. If you're thinking these will be phosphor bronze flat wounds they are not. They are a little smoother than the unpolished and there is a bit less finger noise but it's not a big difference. If you want to cut as much finger noise as possible they do help. While I was putting the regulars on I noticed that the regular Western Folk were not as smooth as the strings I was taking off so it's all relative. They're nice strings but I don't know if they're worth the extra price.
